The national standard for a new member requires them to have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Each chapter may have higher GPA requirements as well as their own specific requirements based on their school guidelines. Please contact a brother of your campus for more information. If you are planning to charter, please contact our Expansion chair for more information.

Someone who is an immediate family member of one of our brothers. If you are the blood-brother or son of a member of Chi Sigma Tau, you would be considered a Legacy. When joining, the family member who is already a member of Chi Sigma Tau should notify the chapter which the legacy is joining about their legacy status. Note that a chapter has the right to decline membership to a legacy if he does not meet the new member criteria set by the chapter and nationals.

Alumni members of Chi Sigma Tau have established scholarship programs available for brothers who exceed expectations in their academics. These scholarships are limited to members of Chi Sigma Tau.
